The Devil's In The Details

We have the honor of sitting down with Mark Pellegrino from movies and shows like LOST, Capote, American Rust, Supernatural, The Big Lebowski and others to talk about his work, his upcoming work and even some fan favorites. Mark shares with us what it was like to work with his wife, Tracy on their upcoming series called "Strangers in a Strange Land", and how that series was shot across the globe during their travels. We talk about his acting career, how he prepares for roles and what he puts into characters who are already well established before he works with them, and what acting takes from him to make those characters convincing. Mark also share advice for aspiring actors and what he found to helpful when he was younger and coming up i the acting scene. We also talk to Mark about a project very near and dear to him called "The Guardian Project" where he is working to help people not only overcome online bullying but how to avoid it. "The Guardian Project" deals with the issues presented to our modern world and how to use the gift of social media in a way that benefits all, not injures. This is an intriguing conversation with an intriguing guest.

A Drummers Life

If you grew up in the late 80's and the 90's then you no doubt heard the music of Jane's Addiction! We talk with Stephen Perkins, the drummer of Janes Addiction, Porno for Pyros, The Halloween Jack and a few other bands. We talk with Stephen about growing up and learning about drums. We talk about the growth of Janes Addiction and how that spread out into other projects over the years and how these expansions in projects impacted his music, and his drum playing. We talk about his musical influences like David Bowie, The New York Dolls, and punk rock in general. In fact. one of the new releases for The Halloween Jack is a unique rocked up cover of the New York Dolls song called "Trash". Stephen and the rest of the band wanted to put this song out as a tribute/ token of love to the glam/punk band’s Sylvain Sylvain who died after losing his battle with cancer. Stephen also tells us about his newest project "Perkins Palace" which is a new record label for up and coming talent that needs an opportunity much like Jane's Addiction did when they got signed.
