S5E313 -The Chestnut Tree - a Conversation with Mathew Tekulsky

The Chestnut Tree

Let's step away from the usual superheroes, movies, and pop culture rabbit holes and into the world of storytelling with an author whose work explores the power of imagination, memory, and the stories that stay with us long after we turn the final page.

Joining Pop Culture Addicts today is Matthew Tekulsky, author of The Chestnut Tree.

Now, every good book has a story behind the story — where the idea came from, what inspired the characters, and what ultimately made the author sit down and say, “Okay… I have to write this.”

So today, we’re going to get into all of that.

We’ll talk about The Chestnut Tree, Matthew’s inspiration behind the book, his writing process, and what he hopes readers take away from the story.
